"2024 Pocket Gamer Awards: Winners and Game of the Year Revealed"

After two months filled with nominations and voting, the winners of this year's Pocket Gamer Awards have been officially announced. While the list included many anticipated names, there were also a few surprising victors who clinched the public-voted awards. This year stands out as one of the strongest for mobile gaming, and the public's votes clearly reflect that sentiment.

Following a month of nominations, another month of voting, and a spectacular awards ceremony, the Pocket Gamer Awards 2024 winners have been unveiled. The journey has been nothing short of astonishing, with the winners' list showcasing the remarkable progress the mobile gaming industry has made since our inaugural awards in 2010, where reader's choice led just one category.

Having been involved from the very start of the nomination process back in October, I've witnessed the entire progression, and it's been a resounding success. Not only did we receive an overwhelming number of votes, but this year marks the first time that mobile gamers can proudly say that the winners' list truly represents the broader industry.

The diversity of the winners is striking, ranging from giants like NetEase, with their Sony IP Destiny, and Tencent-backed SuperCell, Scopely, to stalwart publishers such as Konami and Bandai Namco. The list also celebrates indie darlings like Rusty Lake and Emoak. Additionally, 2024 has been a phenomenal year for ports. Just as PC gaming often sees adaptations of mobile classics, this year has seen numerous excellent experiences make the transition to mobile, reflected in the three outstanding ports that have won awards.

Without further ado, here are all the winners:
