Pokémon GO has just announced exciting exclusive rewards that trainers worldwide can redeem as the Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 approaches in Honolulu!
The Pokémon GO World Championships 2024, set to take place from August 16 to August 18, 2024, will offer a range of thrilling exclusive rewards and Twitch drops during the event weekend, including up to three redeemable codes. Alongside the global festivities and events in Honolulu, Pokémon trainers everywhere have the chance to earn special in-game rewards by tuning into the event's official Twitch live stream.
Trainers can earn exclusive Twitch Drops by watching just 30 minutes of the Pokémon GO live stream on Twitch during the World Championships (on any day of the event). To participate, you must link your Twitch account to your Pokémon Trainer Club account. Keep in mind that minimizing the stream window will pause the Twitch Drop progress timer.
After watching for half an hour, a pop-up in Twitch chat will notify you that you can claim your reward. You can then claim these rewards on the Twitch Drops Inventory Page. Additionally, you'll find your code rewards on the View Inventory page at rewards.pokemon.com. Remember, these codes are valid until August 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM UTC.
Up to two codes can be earned during the event—one each day of the live stream. A third code will be available for those who watch the official Pokémon GO co-streams showcasing the World Championships from August 16 (9:00 a.m. HST) to August 19 (12:00 a.m. HST). These codes can be redeemed for exclusive Timed Research tasks that offer unique rewards:
Redeeming the Day 1 live stream code grants access to exclusive Timed Research with the following rewards:
• An encounter with a Sableye that knows the Fast Attack Shadow Claw and the Charged Attack Foul Play
• An Elite Charged TM
• Sableye caught during this period will know the Fast Attack Shadow Claw and the Charged Attack Foul Play
• One additional Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and above who complete three-star Shadow Raids. (Shadow Sableye may appear in these raids during the Honolulu 2024 Pokémon World Championships event!)
Redeeming the Day 2 live stream code unlocks Timed Research focused on building a strong Great League team. Trainers can choose between three different team options, each featuring a variety of Pokémon:
Team Option 1
• Dunsparce
• Mantine
• Pancham
Team Option 2
• Galarian Weezing
• Skorupi
• Chespin
Team Option 3
• Jigglypuff
• Shellos
• Inkay
In addition, Trainers will receive 8,500 Stardust as part of the rewards, along with an increased chance to encounter Shiny variants of these Pokémon. With the event running from August 16 to August 18, 2024, ensure your accounts are linked and ready for a weekend filled with Pokémon excitement!
