For a limited time, Best Buy is slashing the price of the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless gaming headset for PC, PS4, and PlayStation 5 to just $139.99, offering a massive 50% off its original $280 price tag. This deal is even $50 cheaper than SteelSeries' own Easter Sale price of $189.99. The Arctis Pro Wireless, SteelSeries' flagship model before the Arctis Nova Pro, is renowned for its premium features, including the unique hot-swappable battery system.

The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless was the pinnacle of gaming headsets in SteelSeries' lineup until the Arctis Nova Pro took over. It boasts exceptional features like a standalone base station with a volume knob and OLED display, the ability to pair simultaneously via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi, and the standout hot-swappable battery system. This system ensures uninterrupted gaming with two batteries: one in use and the other charging in the base station.

The Arctis Pro's build quality is top-notch. It features a lightweight steel and aluminum alloy headband, a comfortable suspension headstrap ideal for long gaming sessions, and AirWeave performance fabric ear cushions similar to those on the Arctis Nova Pro. The retractable ClearCast boom microphone and premium 40mm speaker drivers with high-density neodymium magnets deliver hi-res audio up to 40,000Hz, ensuring superior sound quality.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Review by Matt Elliot

"The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless stands out with its premium build quality, comfortable design, and exceptional sound. Its innovative battery-swapping feature ensures you're never out of power. While its audio is top-tier, the wired Arctis Pro + GameDAC offers slightly better performance for $70 less. Alternatively, the wireless Arctis 7 is a more budget-friendly option at less than half the price."

The Arctis Pro was succeeded by the Arctis Nova Pro in 2022, which is currently available for $270 on Amazon. Although the Nova Pro offers significant upgrades such as active noise cancellation and USB Type-C charging, it's not worth nearly double the cost of the Arctis Pro, especially at this discounted price.
