Albion Online Unveils Rogue Frontier Update: Introduces Smuggler Faction

Albion Online has kicked off 2025 with a thrilling update, the Rogue Frontier, centered around living life on the edge. This update introduces a brand-new faction, innovative trading methods, and exciting new weapons, inviting players to join an underground network of outcasts who play by their own rules.

The Smugglers are the epitome of rebellion and nonconformity, tired of the Royal Continent's stringent regulations. They've established themselves in the lawless wilds, creating hidden hideouts known as Smuggler’s Dens. These dens serve as bases where you can safely store your loot and engage in various illicit activities.

Each den is equipped with essential facilities like banks, repair stations, and travel planners, ensuring you're always on the move. The Smugglers have set up a Smuggler’s Network, a new trading system that revolutionizes how goods are moved across the Outlands. This system allows you to bypass the Royal Continent's taxes, though you'll need to pay a fee to the Smugglers for their services.

The Smugglers now operate as a full-fledged Faction, offering missions for you to prove your loyalty. You might find yourself tracking down stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the clutches of the Royal Guards. Completing these missions earns you Smuggler’s Coins, which you can use to climb the ranks within the faction.

Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action

The Rogue Frontier Update also introduces several eagerly anticipated features to Albion Online. One of the most useful additions is the Bank Overview, which allows you to easily track where all your items are stored throughout the game world. No more frantic searches for that rare loot you stashed away somewhere.

For PvP enthusiasts, the introduction of Kill Trophies offers a way to immortalize your most memorable battles. Additionally, the Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, challenging you to document the diverse fauna you encounter in the wild.

The update also brings three new Crystal Weapons, tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters alike. To explore all these new additions, grab Albion Online from the Google Play Store and dive into the Rogue Frontier Update.
