"Andor Season 2 Now Streaming: Episode Release Dates Revealed"

May 25,2025 Author: Ryan

As a prequel series to the prequel movie "Rogue One," Andor took many by surprise with its exceptional quality. The Disney+ series centers on Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna), tracing his evolution from a petty thief to a pivotal revolutionary figure. Even with the foreknowledge of Andor's ultimate fate, the series' gripping narratives and deeply human stories make it, in our opinion, the finest live-action Star Wars show to date.

After a wait of two and a half years, Andor is back for its second and concluding season, and early reviews suggest it was worth every moment. In his 9/10 review, Clint Gage praises Andor Season 2 for enhancing the elements that made Season 1 a success and further developing the Star Wars prequel universe. The series continues to tell the intimate stories of the unsung heroes within the broader context of the rebellion against the Empire.

Andor Season 2 premieres tonight on Disney+, with an unconventional episode release schedule. Here’s all the information you need to catch every episode.

### Andor

0In an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue, Cassian Andor discovers the impact he can have in the fight against the tyrannical Galactic Empire. His journey sets him on a path to becoming a rebel hero. Andor is exclusively available on Disney+, the ultimate destination for all things Star Wars. Disney+ subscriptions start at $9.99/month and do not include a free trial. For those looking to save on streaming costs, the Disney+ bundle with Hulu and Max is highly recommended.

Andor Season 2 Episode Release Schedule

### Andor: Season 1 [4K UHD]

0In addition to streaming on Disney+, you can add Andor to your physical collection. Season 1 is available on Blu-ray or in 4K, featuring a number of exclusive special features not found on the Disney+ streaming service.

Will There Be a Season 3?

Play*Andor* Season 2 picks up right after Season 1 and leads directly into the events of "Rogue One." Regrettably, this means Season 2 marks the end of *Andor's* story. With four years to cover post-Season 1 finale, expect some time jumps in the narrative.

However, this isn't the end of Star Wars. Upcoming live-action films are in the works, including one directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling. There are also rumors of a Star Wars horror project from Andor's showrunner, Tony Gilroy.

Star Wars fans have much to look forward to in the gaming world as well, with Bit Company's tactical game Star Wars Zero Company in development. More announcements are expected on Star Wars Day, May 4.
