Have you ever played Archero? I’m sure many of us have given it a try at least once. It's been over five years since Habby released the original game, and now they've launched its sequel, Archero 2, which is now available on Android with all the '2.0 updates'.
If you missed out on the first game, here's a quick overview: Archero essentially pioneered the hybrid-casual genre. It's a tower defense game infused with roguelike elements where you play as the Lone Archer, shooting arrows and dodging monsters through dungeons.
Since the success of Archero, Habby has ventured into other hybrid-casual games like Survivor.io, Capybara Go!, and Penguin Isle on Android. They've promised that the sequel is bigger, faster, and set to surpass the original.
What’s the Story This Time?
Archero 2 introduces a fresh twist to the narrative. The Lone Archer, previously our hero, has been deceived by the Demon King and now leads an army of villains as the enemy. It's up to you to step into the fray, take up your bow, and navigate through the chaos to save the day.
Archero 2 on Android features revamped combat with new rarity settings that make every choice significant. The game boasts 50 main chapters and 1,250 floors of the Sky Tower. Dungeons are packed with Boss Seal Battles, Trial Tower, and the notorious Gold Cave.
You can explore three distinct modes: Defense, Room, and Survival. In Defense mode, you'll set up against waves of enemies. Survival mode challenges you with a timed scenario, while Room mode limits the number of areas you can explore.
Archero 2 on Android also introduces PvP gameplay. If this game sounds like your kind of adventure, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store.
