A built-in benchmark tool allows for easy performance testing and optimization. Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) GPU. High-end players aiming for 4K at 60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing will need an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and a powerful RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.
Ubisoft has partnered with Intel to optimize Assassin's Creed Shadows for Intel processors. Performance on AMD systems will be evaluated after launch. The developers are aiming to address past stuttering issues that plagued previous titles in the series. Mirage showed significant improvements over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, offering hope for a smoother experience this time around.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
