Bam Margera's inclusion in the highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has been confirmed, despite his initial absence from the announced roster. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during an exclusive members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
Bagley revealed that the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision, insisting on Margera's addition. Initially, Hawk was told it wasn't possible, but the skateboarding icon's persistence paid off. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.Margera, a former professional skateboarder and a prominent figure from the Jackass franchise, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, which have included multiple rehab stays. He was notably fired from Jackass Forever and faced legal issues, including a restraining order granted to director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats to Tremaine and his family.
Adding to the excitement, Hawk and Margera recently shared a video of themselves skateboarding together, sparking initial speculation about Margera's return to the game.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has made a remarkable comeback after nearly being canceled following the merger of the previous series developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
