Wuthering Waves 2.3 Released with Anniversary Events

Wuthering Waves has rolled out its Version 2.3 update in four staggered phases, aligning with the game’s first anniversary and its debut on Steam—now officially available on PC.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.3 Is Called Fiery Arpeggio of Summer

This update introduces new characters, story arcs, and event content. If your Union Level is solid, you’ll find plenty to explore over the next few weeks. The update goes live on April 29th and runs through June 12th, 2025.

New storylines include A Blaze in the Dark and Your Summer Will Never Wither. A fresh wave of Phantom Echoes also arrives, featuring Crownless (and its Nightmare variant), Nimbus Wraith, and the elusive Chest Mimic.

The Gifts of Grand Celebration login event runs from May 23rd to June 11th, rewarding players with Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance—provided you’ve reached Union Level 8. Check out the update details below.

There Are New and Old Minigames

Cubie Derby is back—both as a casual pastime and a spectator event where you can root for your favorite Cubes. Roll the dice, move your Cube across the board, and collect rewards like Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.

In the first phase, you can pull for Resonators such as Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase runs until June 11th.
