NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, as the game never even reached its fully polished release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access launch in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush's EOS Date
The game's servers will be taken offline on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Android and Steam users can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The shutdown announcement is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's gameplay had some shortcomings. The controls sometimes felt awkward, and the pacing could have been improved. These issues, among others, ultimately contributed to the game's early demise.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the servers close. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming article on the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
