EA's Battlefield Studios unveils Battlefield Labs, offering early access to the next Battlefield game. This program allows select players to participate in early playtests and provide crucial feedback. Here's how to participate:
What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is a community engagement initiative designed to gather feedback on the next Battlefield title. Chosen participants will get early access to in-development gameplay, acting as virtual advisors to EA's Battlefield Studios. The program will initially focus on a few thousand players in Europe and North America, with expansion planned. Participation will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Battlefield Labs vs. Beta Testing: Key Differences
Unlike traditional betas, Battlefield Labs provides access to unfinished gameplay. Expect more bugs and technical issues than a typical beta. The focus is on gathering feedback on core gameplay elements like combat loops, map design, and balance. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.
How to Join Battlefield Labs and Get Early Access
Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and register. You'll need an EA account, linked to your preferred gaming platform. Be aware of potential queues; you'll have a 15-minute window to access the site once your turn arrives. After registration, monitor your email for updates and playtest invitations.
The next Battlefield game is slated for release before April 1, 2026 (EA's FY26).
