In a recent tweet from the official Bethesda account, the company teased the upcoming announcement with an image prominently featuring the number "IV" and a background that strikingly resembles iconic art from Oblivion. While Bethesda kept the details under wraps, the hints are unmistakable for fans eagerly awaiting news on the remaster.
Rumors of an Oblivion remake have been circulating for what feels like an eternity. The first whispers emerged following a leaked Bethesda release schedule from 2020, part of the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which suggested an Oblivion remaster was targeted for fiscal year 2022.
