Season 2 of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* has officially kicked off today, introducing a game-changing feature that simplifies the progression grind. The new Camo Challenge Tracking feature is a godsend for players, and here’s a quick guide on how it revolutionizes your gameplay experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Gives Simple Access to Camo Challenge Progress
According to the patch notes for the latest *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* update, the Camo Challenge Tracking system is described as: “The Challenge Tracker makes it easy for players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges they’re actively working toward, but there’s another element of this system that we think players will find useful on the journey to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter: Near Completion.”
This feature lets you manually select 10 camos to track, providing easy access to your progress during gameplay without the hassle of constantly checking the main menu. The tracker also sends notifications about challenges you're close to completing, even if they aren't among the ones you've chosen to track.

How To Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6

To start tracking a challenge, navigate to the Camo or Calling Card challenge you want to monitor. Press the Y button on an Xbox controller or the Triangle button on a PlayStation controller to add it to your tracker. This allows you to monitor your progress on various camos or calling cards during live matches, rather than waiting until the end to see what you need to do next.
Even if you don't manually select a challenge, the game will automatically highlight the ones you're closest to completing. These are always available for you to view if you're curious about what you're near to unlocking.
You can also find the top tracked or near-complete camo and calling card challenges in the *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* lobby under the Daily Challenge section, giving you a complete list of what's close to being unlocked.
Season 2’s update also makes unlocking special camos easier. Previously, you needed to unlock nine military camos before a special one, but now, that requirement has been reduced to just five. However, you still need to unlock two special camos to achieve the coveted mastery camos.
The community has been vocal about the overwhelming number of camos per weapon and the challenge of tracking progress and achieving headshots and kills. It's clear that Treyarch is responding to player feedback by implementing more efficient ways to earn and equip camos, enhancing the overall enjoyment of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
