Castle Doombad Invades Android, Unleash Mayhem!

Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android, courtesy of Grumpyface Studios and Yodo1.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they wisely split the project, creating Free To Slay for mobile and a remastered Castle Doombad Classic for PC (releasing later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil!

In Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, you'll build a wicked lair and defend it against heroic do-gooders. Your arsenal? Traps and minions!

Check out the game trailer below:

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 traps, and 100+ unlockable items. A cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you customize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. You can also equip "Baddie Bonus" perks.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that grant unique powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
