Finnish game studio Kuuasema has unveiled Cthulhu Keeper, a humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's works and the spirit of Bullfrog's Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a darkly comedic experience.
Players will cultivate their own cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the 1920s setting. Building a lair, researching arcane rituals, and summoning Lovecraftian monsters are key elements of gameplay. Recruiting cultists, expanding influence through street canvassing, and completing objectives will be crucial for success. Naturally, rival cults and the authorities will pose a significant threat, necessitating the use of traps and spells to defend the lair.
