Although DC has explored several Hush-related storylines since the original concluded, "Batman: Hush 2" stands out as it brings back the original creative team. This sequel reunites writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee, with the invaluable contributions of inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.
Building on the narrative from the recent epilogue in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, "Hush 2" delves deeper into the mystery surrounding Batman's childhood friend, Tommy Elliot. The Dark Knight uncovers evidence that Tommy survived their last encounter, setting the stage for a new intrigue as Hush manipulates Batman's allies and adversaries alike.
The storyline of "Hush 2" will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, scheduled to hit stores on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a fresh #1 issue and a new costume, ushering in a new era for the Dark Knight under the guidance of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
