In the world of Fisch, obtaining a fishing rod often involves a hefty investment. However, a few can be acquired for free through quests. The Tides of Gold update introduced the Rod of the Exalted One, a free but challenging-to-obtain reward. This guide details how to acquire this powerful rod.
Unlocking The Keeper's Secret in Fisch
To obtain the Rod of the Exalted One, you must first locate The Keeper's Secret. This hidden location is situated on one of the base islands. Access is free, but finding it requires some exploration.
Begin your search in Mushgrove Swamp. Head straight from the Shipwright NPC. Upon reaching the high rocks, turn left. You'll find a darker, subtly different-looking fake wall. Walk through it carefully; the cave beyond is small, containing only an elevator and a dangerous drop shaft. Use caution entering the elevator to avoid a fatal fall. Successfully navigating the elevator leads you to The Keeper's Secret, where seven color-coded pedestals await.
Solving The Keeper's Secret Puzzle
The Keeper's Secret puzzle requires seven uniquely mutated Enchant Relics:
- Greedy Relic
- Translucent Relic
- Atlantean Relic
- Crystalized Relic
- Hexed Relic
- Mosaic Relic
- Fossilized Relic
The most efficient method to acquire these is by purchasing Enchant Relics from the Merlin NPC and appraising them during Mutation Surge events. This process requires significant in-game currency.
Once you've gathered the correctly mutated Relics, place each on its corresponding pedestal. This will reward you with the coveted Rod of the Exalted One and three Exalted Relics.

The Rod of the Exalted One boasts impressive stats, making it ideal for mid-game players. Its unique ability significantly boosts Exalted Relic catch rates.
