Demi Lovato set to headline PlanetPlay\'s latest green initiative, will appear in Subway Surfers and more

  • Demi Lovato is set to headline PlanetPlay's newest Make Green Tuesday Moves edition
  • The actress and musician is set to appear in a swathe of titles
  • You'll be able to nab Lovato-themed avatars in a variety of them, such as Subway Surfers and Peridot

Longtime readers (thank you by the way) who've been keeping an eye on our front page for a while may remember PlanetPlay's various initiatives to help support environmentalist causes. Whether that's working with famed actor David Hasselhoff or Colombian musician J Balvin to bring top stars to your favourite titles, the organisation pops up quite regularly.

And they're back! This time with the latest star to take the plunge into mobile gaming to help support the environment. And it's none other than a name that many will be familiar with, as actress and musician Demi Lovato takes centre stage for the latest edition of Make Green Tuesday Moves (snappy name, we know).

Lovato won't just be lending her name to advertising, but will actually be making appearances in a surprising glut of games. Some of the top titles on the card include global megahit Subway Surfers, Peridot, Avakin Life, Top Drives and more! You'll soon be able to nab Lovato-themed avatars, with all profits going towards projects that support environmentalist causes.

You have to give credit to PlanetPlay for planning this all out quite well. Usually, celebrity-driven initiatives like Green Tuesday Moves tend to fizzle out, or one-and-done that, while admittedly fun doesn't make much of an impact. But with the wide coverage that MGTM makes, and the amount of games that are throwing their hat in the ring I don't doubt that this might just make an impact in helping environmental causes.

Not to mention, for fans who love Lovato this is sure to be a great reason to try out some of these top titles finally. A win for the planet, a win for fans and a win for devs, it seems.

In the meantime, if you're looking to see where some of these big names land on our recommendations, why not check out our list of the best mobile games of 2024 (so far)?
