Collecting them leads you to discover disturbing notes, revealing the Butterfly Collector's true nature—a secret society of women intent on kidnapping children from wealthy families to gain power and influence. Your mission is clear: stop them at all costs. The faction consists of five members, each with their own story and location.

How and Where To Find All Butterfly Collector Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To locate each member, you'll need to follow geographical clues scattered throughout the game. We'll help you pinpoint their locations, making your quest more manageable.

Shucho

Shucho's carelessness leads you to her in the Fishermen’s District at the southeastern tip of Osaka. Dressed in green, she's frantically searching for a kidnapped child at an intersection. Use Naoe's blade or Yasuke's brute force to take her down, then rescue the child hiding behind nearby horses.

Mucho

Head northwest from Shucho's location, crossing the bridge to reach the Kojo ruins. Mucho, disguised as a family jochu, is struggling with her target on the road south of the ruins. Use the child's resistance to your advantage, engage Mucho in combat, and then escort the child back to her mother.

Richo

Richo, a young woman who pretends to be of higher standing, can be found in the bamboo grove at the northern end of Osaka, specifically in Noda Village across the water. She's dressed in pink and checking on a ransom payment. Confront her, either stealthily or in combat, and rescue the child she's holding.

Kacho

After dealing with the previous members, you'll face Kacho, the leader of the Butterfly Collector. She's located just north of the Nishinomaru Garden, west of Osaka Castle, in a restricted zone. Approach cautiously, and when you see a flurry of butterflies, you know you're close. Engage her in conversation, then prepare for a deadly confrontation. Kacho's demise will leave one final member to address.
