Disney Lorcana has announced major updates about the trading card game's future, headlined by its ninth set - Fabled - launching September 5, 2025. This milestone release will introduce groundbreaking Iconic and Epic card rarities along with long-awaited A Goofy Movie content.
The Fabled expansion marks several firsts for Disney Lorcana. Mickey and Minnie will debut as the inaugural Iconic Cards - ultra-rare collectibles appearing only twice per set. Meanwhile, Epic Cards will slot between Legendary and Enchanted rarities, featuring special artwork like the newly revealed Elsa (Snow Queen) card.
Competitive play undergoes a significant shift with Fabled, as Core Constructed format will restrict cards from Lorcana's first four sets. Fans can continue using older collections in Infinity Constructed format, while reprinted versions of fan favorites like Winnie the Pooh (Hunny Wizard) will remain tournament legal.
