Funcom made the exciting announcement on their official website on April 25, revealing plans for a dedicated weekend to test Dune: Awakening globally. Alongside this news, they unveiled a captivating new trailer that showcases some of the game's cinematic cutscenes and intriguing story snippets.

The beta test promises to welcome a massive influx of new players. Unlike previous closed betas, this one will not be bound by an NDA, allowing participants to freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online. As stated in the announcement, "With access to the first 20 hours of the game and most of Act 1 of the story, you will get a taste of both spice and story."
