In *Final Fantasy XIV*, mounts are highly sought-after collector's items, and some, like the Falcon mount, are particularly challenging to acquire. *Final Fantasy XIV* boasts an extensive array of mounts, with the *Dawntrail* expansion adding to this impressive collection. The Falcon mount stands out due to its rarity and the unique way it's obtained. Originally introduced during the Fly the Falcon Mount campaign to celebrate the *Stormblood* expansion's release in Summer 2017, the mount was a reward for players who subscribed for 90 days during the campaign. Once the campaign concluded, the Falcon mount became unobtainable, leaving later players eager to add it to their collections.

Fortunately, there's now a new avenue to acquire this coveted mount. The Moogle Treasure Trove event, a recurring feature in *FFXIV*, offers players the chance to earn various exclusive rewards, including the **Falcon Ignition Key**. To participate, players must complete designated in-game duties, which can range from GATEs at the Gold Saucer in Ul'dah to other qualifying challenges.

Additionally, the Mogpendium provides special challenges, such as weekly challenges and the one-time Ultimog challenge, which offer bonus rewards. Completing these tasks earns you Tomestones of Phantasmagoria, the event's special currency. You can exchange these Tomestones with the Initerant Moogle NPC, located in each of the three main cities, to acquire the Falcon mount, which costs **50 x Tomestones of Phantasmagoria**.

The current Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event will run until the release of Patch 7.2 on **March 25**. This limited-time window is your chance to claim the Falcon mount before the next Moogle Treasure Trove event, so make sure to seize the opportunity.

This guide covers everything you need to know about obtaining the Falcon mount in *Final Fantasy XIV*. For more *FFXIV* content, including a guide on how to get Dawntrail's Rroneek mount, be sure to explore our other resources.
