Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Trailer: Animatronics Leave Pizzeria

Apr 15,2026 Author: Jack

We're going back... and this time, we're leaving the pizzeria behind, believe it or not. The first trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is here, and it's packed with exciting details. First and foremost, the Freddy's animatronics are breaking free from Fazbear's Pizza in this sequel, bringing chaos to the outside world.

But that’s not the only highlight from this preview. After its appearance on the film’s poster, we now get a closer look at the FazTalker, a toy that feels like a mix between a two-way radio and a vintage Fisher Price boombox. It seems to be working just as fans guessed—enabling spirits to communicate with the living.

Interestingly, instead of reaching out to Mike, played by Josh Hutcherson, the spirits seem focused on contacting his younger sister Abby, who—spoiler alert—formed a bond with the animatronic spirits in the first film. In the trailer, they call out for her help, and it looks like she, her brother, and his police officer friend Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) respond. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be a trap, possibly orchestrated by Matthew Lillard’s William Afton, even if he's thought to be dead.

We also get a look at the Withered animatronics, especially Withered Bonnie—also called Faceless Bonnie—shown in all its terrifying glory. Since Withered Bonnie is the main antagonist in the second FNAF game, the film appears to follow that storyline closely.

One of the most entertaining moments comes toward the end of the trailer, when Mike discovers a Freddy mask in the pizzeria office. Fans of the game will know that this should help him stay hidden when the animatronics roam at night. “There’s no way this’ll work,” Mike says, just as Chica and Withered Bonnie move in to attack.

Overall, FNAF 2 is shaping up to be a thrilling ride that stays true to the second game rather than straying too far from what fans know and love. If everything clicks into place, that could prove to be a smart move.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5, 2025.
