The popular Kinetic Blade, a favorite from Chapter 4 Season 2, returns to Fortnite Battle Royale in Chapter 6 Season 1, also known as Fortnite Hunters. This isn't the only katana in the game, though; players can choose between the Kinetic Blade and the newly introduced Typhoon Blade.

How to Find the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite
The Kinetic Blade appears in both Battle Royale Build and Zero Build modes. You'll find it as floor loot or inside standard and Rare chests.
Currently, the Kinetic Blade's drop rate seems relatively low. The absence of dedicated Kinetic Blade stands (unlike the Typhoon Blade) further reduces its availability in-game.
How to Use the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite
The Kinetic Blade is a melee weapon that lets you move quickly and surprise opponents.
Unlike the Typhoon Blade, which requires sprinting for increased speed, the Kinetic Blade uses a Dash Attack to lunge forward. This attack deals 60 damage on a direct hit. You can perform this dash attack up to three times consecutively before needing to recharge.
Alternatively, you can use the Knockback Slash, which inflicts 35 damage and knocks back opponents. A well-timed Knockback Slash can send enemies tumbling, potentially leading to fall damage and elimination.
