Garena Teams up with TiMi to Bring Delta Force to Mobile Globally

Garena's Delta Force: A Tactical FPS Experience Launching Globally

Get ready for the global release of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical first-person shooter (FPS) is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.

Developed originally by NovaLogic, the project was later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile) and is now being launched globally by Garena. The game will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms. Garena and TiMi plan a 2025 launch across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

What Awaits in Delta Force?

Delta Force offers two exciting modes:

  • Warfare: Engage in massive 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Teams of four operators will fight for dominance.
  • Operations: A thrilling extraction shooter mode. Three-person squads must scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and reach the extraction point before time runs out. This mode includes bosses, restricted zones, and special missions, with the chance to find a rare MandelBrick item that unlocks exclusive skins (though finding it reveals your location!).

Acquired loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also loot fallen opponents for gear and supplies.

A Nod to the Past

This new Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics while retaining the tactical gameplay the original 1998 title is known for. Long-time fans will surely appreciate the nostalgic feel.
