LEGO's latest Jurassic World offering is its biggest yet: a colossal T-rex skeleton stretching over three feet long! Featuring minifigures of Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, iconic characters from the original Jurassic Park, this impressive set recreates the museum centerpiece. Priced at $249.99, it's available on the LEGO Store starting March 12th for LEGO Insiders (free signup available!) and March 15th for everyone else.

This 3,145-piece set is designed for adult builders (18+), ideal for display rather than active play. It incorporates advanced building techniques, potentially challenging for younger builders. Its impressive scale is difficult to fully appreciate from images alone; the included Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler minifigures offer a helpful size comparison, but the finished model truly measures over three feet in length. The skull design mirrors the currently available LEGO T-rex skull set (a great build, according to one reviewer!), but the complete skeleton elevates the overall impact significantly.

The articulated joints allow for dynamic posing—move the head, open the jaw, and adjust the arms and tail to your liking. Like many movie-themed LEGO sets, this one includes hidden Easter eggs to discover during construction. A display stand and informational plaque detailing the T-rex's diet, habitat, and more are also included.
While LEGO's Jurassic World collection might not yet match the scale of its Star Wars or Harry Potter lines, it's rapidly expanding. This impressive T-rex skeleton is a fantastic addition and hopefully signals more high-quality adult-oriented LEGO sets to come.
