Grand Theft Auto V, despite its age, remains incredibly popular. A major factor in its continued relevance is the consistent addition of new content. This guide focuses on accessing the military base, Lago Zancudo, and acquiring the coveted Rhino tank.

Locating Lago Zancudo

The military base, Lago Zancudo, is situated south of North Chumash beach. The image below pinpoints its exact location on the map. Expect heavy security and perimeter fencing.

Infiltrating Lago Zancudo

Two primary infiltration methods exist:

Air Infiltration: Approaching by air (helicopter or plane) triggers a two-star wanted level and a warning. Ignoring this escalates to a four-star wanted level and guided missile attacks. A parachute landing might mitigate the risk of immediate death.

Ground Infiltration: A fast vehicle allows for a daring approach. Jumping a cliff or hill near the base aims to land between the outer fences undetected. Careful driving within the base can avoid detection. Alternatively, a motorcycle might allow you to slip through the main checkpoint if the guard is momentarily distracted.

Acquiring the Rhino Tank

Once inside, locate the Rhino tank. This requires a more tactical approach:

1. Fire upon the Rhino tank, forcing the driver to react.
2. Seek cover and repeat until the driver abandons the vehicle.
3. Eliminate the driver and claim the Rhino tank.

Be warned: taking the tank instantly grants a four-star wanted level. Immediately seek refuge in a tunnel to evade helicopter attacks.
