HandyGames Launches Way of the Hunter: Wild America CBT on Mobile

Get ready for an exhilarating hunting adventure on your mobile device with Way of the Hunter: Wild America. If you're familiar with the PC version, you know what to expect from this title developed by Nine Rocks Games, which initially hit the shelves on PC and consoles back in August 2022.

Will You Get Everything in Way of the Hunter Mobile?

Understandably, the mobile version might feature some graphical downgrades due to the limitations of mobile hardware. However, the essence of the game, including its DLC, is set to be included post-launch. Currently, the mobile port is in its beta phase, with THQ Nordic and HandyGames gearing up for a full release soon.

HandyGames has announced a closed beta test via a tweet and provided a form for interested players to sign up. If you're eager to join the test, head over to their official X account to fill out the form.

Is It the Best Hunting Sim?

Way of the Hunter challenges your patience and strategic thinking, allowing you to track animals that exhibit realistic behaviors. The game unfolds across expansive open-world environments inspired by the USA and Europe, offering a vast 55-square-mile area to explore.

You'll have access to a range of authentic hunting weapons, from rifles to bows, and can even analyze blood splatter and animal signs to secure your trophy. Check out the game in action below.

The game's ecosystem dynamically responds to your actions, meaning reckless shooting can scare off wildlife, causing them to relocate. Way of the Hunter also features an in-game economy where you can sell meat to purchase better gear, hunting passes, and taxidermy trophies for your lodge. It includes both a campaign mode and a co-op mode, with full controller support on mobile.
