In 2022, Jim Kay stepped down as the series' artist. However, on March 10, Bloomsbury Publishing announced that Levi Pinfold would take over to illustrate the final two books. Levi Pinfold previously designed the covers for the Harry Potter Hogwarts House Editions and contributed to The Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac as one of its seven illustrators.
