Hogwarts Legacy will support mods and it will happen sooner than you think

Warner Bros. Games has gifted Hogwarts Legacy fans a magical surprise: mod support arrives this Thursday! Exclusively for PC players on Steam and the Epic Games Store, this update is a major highlight, introducing the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit. This powerful toolkit empowers players to craft their own dungeons, quests, and even character edits. The renowned modding platform, CurseForge, will host and manage these creations. The update also includes a built-in mod manager, simplifying the process of finding and installing user-generated content.

Several pre-approved mods will launch alongside the update, including the thrilling “Dungeon of Doom,” promising challenging encounters and hidden secrets. However, it’s important to note that linking your game account to a WB Games account is required to access and use mods.

Beyond modding, the patch delivers additional character customization options, including new hairstyles and outfits. The developers showcased examples of these enhancements in a recent trailer.
