Honkai Star Rail Update to Feature Immersive 'Finest Duel' Event

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 Update: "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue" Arrives July 31st!

HoYoverse has unveiled the details for Honkai: Star Rail's highly anticipated version 2.4 update, titled "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue," launching July 31st. This update is jam-packed with new content, including a new map, characters, light cones, and events. Let's explore what awaits!

New Locations and Characters

The Astral Express journeys to a new area within Xianzhou Luofu: The Shackling Prison. Players will also get to explore the workspaces of Xueyi and Hanya.

Version 2.4 introduces two new 5-star characters: Yunli (Destruction) and Jiaoqiu (Nihility). Popular characters, Sparkle and Huohuo, also return.

Character release is staggered across two phases:

• Phase 1 (July 31st): Yunli, Huohuo, Lynx, Yukong, and Hanya.
• Phase 2 (August 21st): Jiaoqiu, Sparkle, Arlan, Guinaifen, and Hook.

New Light Cones and Events

Two new 5-star Light Cones debut: Yunli's signature Light Cone, "Dance at Sunset," arrives in Phase 1, while Jiaoqiu's signature, "Those Many Springs," launches in Phase 2. Huohuo's "Night of Fright" and Sparkle's "Earthly Escapade" Light Cones also make a comeback.

Abundant In-Game Activities

Players can look forward to a new Trailblaze Continuance Mission, exploration of The Shackling Prison in Xianzhou Luofu, and Yunli's Companion Mission. The "Gift of Odyssey" check-in event rewards players with 10 Special Star Rail Passes.

The "Saga of Primaveral Blade" event allows players to train March 7th with Yanqing and Yunli for a duel against the IPC's Scott. Rewards include Stellar Jade, Self-Modeling Resin, a new chat box style, Tracks of Destiny, and March 7th's Eidolon.

Additional events, "Garden of Plenty" and "Planar Fissure," offer double drops for Golden and Crimson Calyx and Planar Ornaments.
