Honor of Kings, Tencent’s popular MOBA game, is gearing up for an exciting festive season with the launch of its inaugural Snow Carnival 2024 event! Packed with new in-game features, challenges, and surprises, this update promises to deliver plenty of holiday cheer for players worldwide. From thrilling gameplay changes to generous gift exchanges, there’s something for everyone.
The festivities kick off on November 28th and run until January 8th, introducing several fresh elements designed to enhance the gaming experience. First up, players can look forward to encountering two powerful new bosses—the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant—on November 28th. Destroying these bosses will trigger additional slow or freeze effects, adding strategic depth to battles. Additionally, starting December 12th, six heroes—Lady Zhen, Princess Frost, Zhuangzi, Dolia, DaQiao, and Shi—will gain enhanced abilities that allow them to stack their water-based skills, creating an icy battlefield for opponents.
In the jungle, players will face new challenges beginning November 28th with the introduction of Glacial Twists. These hazards will slow down movement and toss players around, testing their agility and reflexes. From December 12th to December 23rd, the Shadow Vanguard summon will introduce an ice path effect, while defeating the river sprite from December 24th to January 8th will reward players with a handy ice sled for support or escape.
From November 28th to January 8th, the Zero Cost Purchase Event will allow players to claim one free item from a selection of available options without spending any tokens. On top of that, the Gift Exchange runs from December 24th to January 1st, giving players the opportunity to exchange gifts with friends. Gift Opening begins on January 1st and continues through January 4th, offering players the chance to win exclusive skins—and possibly even a legendary one!
This global debut marks the beginning of a new era for seasonal events in Honor of Kings. As the game expands its reach, fans can expect even more innovative content in future celebrations. Stay tuned for what’s coming next!
