Take on Hordes of Enemy Classmates in School Hero, a New Beat 'Em Up

School Hero, a new Android beat 'em up from indie developer Gkoros Polychronis, bursts onto the scene with vibrant, comic-book-style visuals and surprisingly engaging gameplay. It's a fun, straightforward title that delivers on its promise of entertainment.

What is School Hero?

Play as "Hero"—yes, that's his name—a schoolboy with surprisingly powerful fists and a noble heart. The story follows a classic "save the girl" trope: you're the new kid in school, and your girlfriend's been kidnapped by a shadowy organization.

As you progress through punch-filled encounters and dramatic cutscenes, you'll uncover dark secrets hidden within the school's seemingly ordinary hallways. Gameplay is solid beat 'em up fare; you can grab and throw enemies, and utilize various environmental weapons.

Boss battles require learning attack patterns and exploiting openings, adding a satisfying layer of challenge reminiscent of classic beat 'em ups. The team captain boss fight is a particular highlight.

School Hero also offers enjoyable extras. Unlockable pets aid you in combat, and an in-game shop provides power-ups, XP boosts, and health items, ensuring you're never far from a comeback.

Different Game Modes

Choose your adventure with Story Mode for the full narrative experience, Arcade Mode for nostalgic beat 'em up chaos, or Survival Mode to test your endurance.

School Hero blends charming pixel art with anime-style cutscenes and colorful backgrounds. The game also features full Bluetooth and USB controller support. Find it now on the Google Play Store.
