"Indiana Jones PS5 Rating Hints at Imminent Release"

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been rated for PlayStation 5 by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, hinting that a release on this platform could be imminent. The action-adventure game, developed by MachineGames, initially launched on Xbox Series X and S as well as PC in December 2024. It is currently slated for a spring 2025 release on PS5, indicating that fans won't have to wait long.

Microsoft has not yet announced the PS5 release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as their recent Xbox Developer Direct showcase focused on other titles. However, an announcement is expected soon.

Since its initial release on Xbox, MachineGames has provided several updates to the game, including fixes for various bugs and the addition of support for Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction on PC. The upcoming PS5 version will include all the updates released so far for the console.

The game's launch on Game Pass has contributed to its success, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle reaching 4 million players to date. This number is anticipated to increase significantly once the game becomes available on PS5.

Notably, Harrison Ford, the iconic actor behind Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in the game. In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's performance, humorously noting, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
