Infinity Nikki's Phenomenal Debut: $16 Million in First-Month Revenue

Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile game revenue within its first month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by an astounding 40 times, highlighting the game's immense popularity. The game's success is largely attributed to its strong performance in China, where it garnered over 5 million downloads.

Developed by Infold Games (Papergames in China), Infinity Nikki launched in December 2024, immersing players in the captivating world of Miraland. Players guide Nikki and her cat, Momo, through diverse nations, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges using magically-enhanced outfits powered by Whimstars. The core gameplay revolves around dressing Nikki, but these outfits are crucial for story progression.

The game's initial success was remarkable. AppMagic data (via Pocket Gamer) reveals a strong launch week with $3.51 million in revenue, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in subsequent weeks. While weekly revenue decreased to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached nearly $16 million. This dwarfs the first-month revenue of Love Nikki ($383,000) and significantly outperforms Shining Nikki's international launch ($6.2 million). It's important to note that these figures reflect only mobile platform earnings.

Infinity Nikki's Record-Breaking Success

China played a pivotal role in Infinity Nikki's triumph, contributing over 42% of total downloads. Daily revenue peaked at over $1.1 million on December 6th, but subsequently fluctuated. While daily earnings dipped below $500,000 by December 21st, reaching a low of $141,000 on December 26th, the Version 1.1 update spurred a significant resurgence, boosting revenue to $665,000 on December 30th.

Infinity Nikki is available for free on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The developers plan to sustain the game's momentum through regular updates and seasonal events like the Fishing Day Event, ensuring a continuously engaging experience for players.
