As you prepare for the Sweet Discoveries event, get ready to dive into the regal festivities of the upcoming Crown Clash event in Pokémon Go, scheduled from May 10th to 18th. This event promises a royal treat with the debut of Kingambit, the Big Blade Pokémon, alongside costumed versions of Nidoqueen and Nidoking sporting shiny new crowns.
To evolve your Bisharp into Kingambit, it must be your buddy Pokémon, and you'll need to conquer 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn't need to battle; just bring it along to collect those victories.
The event also introduces costumed Nidoqueen and Nidoking, adorned with regal crowns, and there's a chance to encounter their Shiny variants. These monarchs will lead the three-star raids, while Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard will appear in one-star raids.
In the wild, you'll encounter frequent spawns such as Slowpoke (which may drop a King's Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, offering you a chance to catch this Steel/Dark-type Pokémon.
