Konosuba: Fantastic Days Offline Version Rumors Surge as Game Nears Closure

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the popular mobile RPG from Sesisoft, is set to conclude its service on January 30th, 2025. After nearly five years, both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. However, a glimmer of hope remains for fans.

Developers are planning a limited offline version, preserving the main storyline, key quests, and significant events. Details regarding this offline experience are scarce, and its release remains unconfirmed.

Regarding in-game purchases and refunds:

  • In-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024.
  • Existing Quartz and other in-game items remain usable until the service ends.
  • Players eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 can apply until January 30th, 2025.

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise, launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021. The game's charming narrative, attractive visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received. However, like many gacha RPGs, it ultimately faced closure, a trend affecting numerous anime-based games this year due to challenges in player retention and high production costs.

With only a few months remaining, now is your last chance to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. Download it from the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, be sure to check out our coverage of Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP Battles.
