Regarding in-game purchases and refunds:
- In-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024.
- Existing Quartz and other in-game items remain usable until the service ends.
- Players eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 can apply until January 30th, 2025.
KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise, launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021. The game's charming narrative, attractive visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received. However, like many gacha RPGs, it ultimately faced closure, a trend affecting numerous anime-based games this year due to challenges in player retention and high production costs.
