Get ready to command a magical battalion of mages in the upcoming mobile game, *MageTrain*. Set to launch next month on virtual storefronts, this free-to-play title from Tidepool Games reinvents the classic Snake gameplay with a roguelike twist. Drawing inspiration from games like *Nimble Quest*, *Slay the Spire*, and *FTL*, *MageTrain* combines auto-battler mechanics with strategic positioning for a deep yet accessible gaming experience. Pre-orders are now open for iOS and Android users.

In *MageTrain*, you'll lead a chain of heroes through enemy-filled arenas, reminiscent of the classic Snake game. However, this time, you're at the helm of a magical train, carefully positioning each hero to maximize their attack potential while avoiding deadly collisions. At launch, the game will introduce nine unlockable heroes, each with unique abilities that vary based on their position within the train. Whether leading from the front or supporting from the rear, each hero brings something different to the table.

Explore eight dungeons, face off against 28 enemy types, and master 30 different skills to create powerful team synergies. *MageTrain* adopts a roguelike structure with a path-based system, offering randomized challenges on each run. Collect gold, power-ups, and upgrades to tailor your strategy, and with every defeat, refine your approach to enhance your next adventure.

Strategic positioning is crucial as your heroes auto-attack, requiring you to maneuver your growing train to dodge hazards and optimize your battle formations. The longer you survive, the stronger your heroes become, but a single mistake can end your journey abruptly.

Are you ready to master *MageTrain* and build the ultimate magical battalion? Pre-register now for the game's release on April 8th by clicking on your preferred link below. And while you wait, why not check out our list of the *best roguelikes to play on iOS*?
