MapleStory Worlds Launches for Americas, Europe on Mobile, PC

Dec 27,2025 Author: Christopher
  • MapleStory Worlds is the latest installment in the popular Nexon franchise.
  • It is now launching simultaneously in both the Americas and Europe.
  • Create your own experiences using a variety of basic and advanced tools with MapleStory assets.

Fans of the MapleStory franchise have reason to celebrate, as a new title is arriving in North America and Europe shortly after its initial release! Following a soft launch in late 2024, MapleStory Worlds is now officially available on mobile and PC for players in Europe and the Americas.

To my understanding, MapleStory Worlds is essentially a Roblox-style platform for the MapleStory universe. You can use both simple and sophisticated tools to design your own side-scrolling adventures, whether they are classic MapleStory-inspired RPGs, shooter games, or simply spaces to socialize with others.

MapleStory Worlds supports cross-platform play between mobile and PC. In promotional trailers and creator testimonials, Nexon emphasizes the monetization opportunities for user-created experiences. That said, I imagine many players will be drawn to the opportunity of recreating classic MapleStory moments using upgraded and modern tools.

ytWorld of your own

I’ll admit I'm both curious and slightly skeptical about MapleStory Worlds. There's no denying the franchise's gorgeous, crisp pixel-art style is something I truly appreciate. Still, even among long-time fans, I haven’t seen overwhelming enthusiasm for Worlds.

Nevertheless, MapleStory Worlds offers a range of experiences—or what we might simply call mini-games—from platformers to zombie survival and more. Perhaps viewing it as a standalone platform makes it more appealing. We'll need to see how it’s received now that it's fully launched to know for sure!

In the meantime, if you're looking for other standout mobile releases, we've got you covered. Our updated list of the top five new mobile games to try this week is now live, featuring the best new launches from the past seven days.
