Marvel Rivals: Celestial Codex Guide

Mar 14,2025 Author: Eleanor

In *Marvel Rivals*, teamwork is key, but solo players aren't left out in the cold. A wealth of Achievements are designed for lone wolves, and the Celestial Codex is a prime example. This guide shows you how to find and use it.

How To Find the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Season 1's Chronoverse Saga Achievements in Marvel Rivals present some unique challenges. While some, like emoting as a Norse God or finding a Wakandan statue, are straightforward, the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement proves surprisingly tricky. This Achievement requires locating the Celestial Codex and spraying the nearby terminal.

The catch? The Codex only appears on the Klyntar map, and the Achievement is Quick Play exclusive, making its discovery a matter of chance. Once on Klyntar, your starting side dictates your strategy. If you spawn on the attacking side, the Codex—a large, easily-spotted object—is in your starting area. Defenders must wait until the attacking team passes the first checkpoint before venturing to the enemy spawn.

How To Use the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Locating the Codex is just the first step. You'll need to know how to interact with it. Regardless of your side, use the spray button (T on PC, left D-pad on console). Any spray will work; liberally cover the terminal to ensure registration.

Defenders venturing to the enemy spawn should remain vigilant. While unlikely, encountering opponents is possible. Mobile characters like Spider-Man and Rocket offer a quick escape route if needed.

Crucially, don't leave the match after completing the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement. Aside from the poor sportsmanship of abandoning your team, the Achievement might not register without the match's stats being logged. Even if you complete the challenge early, stay and contribute to your team's victory.

That's how to find and use the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals. For more tips, check out our guide on intercepting the ball in Clash of Dancing Lions.

Marvel Rivals is available now on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
