NetEase Games has unveiled the Sanctum Sanctorum, a captivating new map arriving in Marvel Rivals with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season pits players against Dracula, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge against his forces.

The Sanctum Sanctorum, one of three new maps (including Midtown and Central Park), hosts the new Doom Match mode. This free-for-all pits 8-12 players against each other, with the top 50% declared victorious. Midtown will be the setting for a new convoy mission, while details on Central Park remain scarce, promised for a mid-season update.

A recent video showcased the Sanctum Sanctorum's unique blend of opulent décor and surreal elements. The kitchen, for example, features floating cookware and a rather unsettling squid-like creature emerging from the refrigerator. Winding staircases, floating bookshelves, and gleaming artifacts further enhance the mystical atmosphere, all within the familiar, yet strangely altered, home of Doctor Strange. A cheerful portrait of the Sorcerer Supreme himself adds a touch of ironic normalcy.
