The developer behind the popular Marvel hero shooter shared a comprehensive overview of the upcoming update on its official website, detailing a range of hero adjustments and map refinements set to go live this Thursday, March 27. This update requires no server maintenance, allowing players to jump in and experience changes to heroes like Wolverine and Iron Fist immediately after its release at 9:00 AM (UTC+0).

A notable highlight of this latest Season 1 update is a surprise addition to the Galacta’s Cosmic Quest board game event—a special April Fool’s Easter egg gift exclusively for players who have fully completed the activity. NetEase describes the reward as granting access to a "hidden twist surprise," leaving the community in anticipation until its unveiling later this week.

This update also aims to reduce instances of characters clipping through map geometry. While specific map optimizations were not listed, the team confirmed resolving an issue on Hydra Charteris Base where Rocket Raccoon’s B.R.B. could occasionally revive teammates outside the playable boundaries.

As Marvel Rivals concludes Season 1 and gears up for Season 2, this patch introduces numerous hero-specific bug fixes. Wolverine, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Loki, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Human Torch all receive targeted ability refinements. Wolverine stands out with the most adjustments in version 20250327, as NetEase has improved the consistency of his Feral Leap and Ultimate ability.

3. Iron Man's Teleportation Tangle: On Sanctum Sanctorum, using Hyper-Velocity immediately before entering a portal could sometimes cause ability misfires and unusual visual effects. Iron Man’s tactical maneuvers now function as designed, letting him traverse the battlefield seamlessly.

4. Loki-Doctor Strange's Forbidden Tech: Fixed an issue in Doom Match where Loki transforming into Doctor Strange could incorrectly allow use of the forbidden Pentagram of Farallah. This reality-bending exploit has been eliminated.

5. Magneto's Magnetic Moments: Resolved a rare visual glitch in post-match sequences where Magneto’s MVP presentation could display erratic animations. The master of magnetism now presents with flawless precision.

6. Wolverine's Ultimate with Pinpoint Precision: Corrected a problem with Wolverine’s Ultimate Ability where, under high latency, enemies flung and slammed into the ground could land in incorrect positions. Now, every Last Stand impact occurs exactly as intended.

7. Human Torch's Fiery Focus: Addressed an uncommon bug where the Human Torch’s Primary Attack could fail to register on targets, reducing his incendiary impact. With this fix, each flame burst hits its mark reliably, ensuring his offensive pressure remains consistently intense.
