The Primitive Challenge stands out as one of the toughest weekly challenges in *Phasmophobia*. The key to success here is to identify the ghost and complete your investigations without any electronic devices. This means you'll need to lean heavily on your understanding of ghost behavior and intuition.

The challenge takes place at 10 Ridgeview Court, a house-style map known for its navigable layout and safe spots. Remember, you need to complete three qualifying investigations to fully conquer this challenge.

Tips & Tricks To Complete Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia

Completing the Primitive Challenge requires a keen understanding of the unique rules and circumstances. You'll start without the usual electronic equipment, including Flashlights, DOTs Projectors, and Video Cameras, as shown below.

Sanity Medication is also off the table, but you begin with a full Sanity meter to help you navigate the early stages. Your provided equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes to prevent ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for added protection.

For evidence gathering, you're limited to two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 "glowstick" UV lights, which double as your light source and UV evidence tool. Additionally, you have two Tier 1 thermometers to detect freezing temperatures.

Identifying the ghost will require you to tap into your paranormal intuition. Each ghost has unique behavioral traits that can help you distinguish them. Our no-evidence cheat sheet can be a valuable resource here.

Your first task should be to locate the ghost quickly, especially since you can't access the fuse box, leaving you in the dark and at risk of losing sanity. The ghost's increased activity in this challenge should make it easier to track down.

Alternatively, you can use the provided Ouija Board, found in the laundry room on the first floor, left of the dining area. Ask the ghost its "favorite room" to pinpoint its location, but be prepared to lose 50% of your sanity. Always remember to say "Goodbye" to the board to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt. This method is particularly useful in group settings for added safety.
