Mister Fantastic Gameplay Debuts in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mister Fantastic Takes Center Stage Against Dracula

Marvel Rivals' Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, will introduce Mister Fantastic as a playable character. His intellect-based combat style will be pivotal in the fight against Dracula. This marks the beginning of the Fantastic Four's arrival in the game.

The Invisible Woman will also debut alongside Mister Fantastic in Season 1. Human Torch and The Thing are expected to follow approximately six to seven weeks later. NetEase Games plans to release substantial updates midway through each three-month season.

Gameplay footage showcases Mister Fantastic's unique abilities. He utilizes his elastic powers for powerful punches, grabbing and slamming opponents, and even inflating his body for devastating blows. His ultimate ability involves repeated aerial slams, reminiscent of The Winter Soldier's attacks. While speculation exists about a potential Season 1 bonus related to the Fantastic Four, this remains unconfirmed.

Leaked information suggests Human Torch's abilities will include flame walls for battlefield control and the potential for fire tornadoes in conjunction with Storm. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard class character, although details about his abilities are scarce.

While rumors circulated about Blade and Ultron's inclusion, NetEase Games confirmed that the Fantastic Four will be the sole additions in Season 1. This suggests a potential delay for Ultron to Season 2 or beyond, surprising some who anticipated his presence at launch. The absence of Blade, considering Dracula's inclusion, is another unexpected development. Despite these surprises, the upcoming content has generated considerable player excitement for Marvel Rivals' future.
