Get ready for an epic adventure as Monopoly GO! blasts into hyperspace with its latest event. Following the thrilling Marvel collaboration last year, Monopoly GO x Star Wars is set to be one of the most exciting crossovers yet by Scopely.
Mark your calendars for May 1st through July 2nd. The event kicks off in a delightfully fun way with PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, watching Star Wars in Mr. M’s private cinema. Her deep dive into the movie leads her and her friends into a dreamlike journey through the Star Wars galaxy. Forget properties and hotels; this event is all about the epic battle between Jedi and Sith, and the eternal struggle between the light and dark sides.
During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab, players can collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This isn't just any album; it's a comic book-style journey that reimagines parts of the Star Wars universe through PEG-E’s vivid imagination. The stickers feature a galaxy of familiar faces including R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.
To match the Star Wars theme, Monopoly GO is revamping its usual events. Expect mini-games set on iconic locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena. You might even see Qui-Gon and Mr. M engaging in some intense podracing action.
The event trailer, which debuted at Star Wars Celebration Japan, teases gameplay filled with Star Wars references, from lightsabers to space travel and galactic vibes. Dive into the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab trailer below to get a glimpse of what's in store.
In addition to characters and stickers, players can collect various Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including tokens, shields, and emojis. Stay tuned to the game’s social media pages for the latest news and updates throughout the event.
Don't miss out on this interstellar crossover. Grab Monopoly GO from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the adventure starting May 1st.
