Monster Hunter Wilds Surpassed 8 Million Units in 3 Days
Monster Hunter Wilds Is Now Capcom’s Fastest Selling Game

Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) has set a new record for Capcom, selling over 8 million units in just 3 days since its launch. This milestone was proudly announced on Capcom's official website, marking MH Wilds as the fastest-selling title in the company's history.
The game's success is underscored by its performance on Steam, where it reached over 1.3 million concurrent players despite receiving mixed reviews. Capcom credits this achievement to their extensive promotional efforts, which included showcasing the game at international video game events and conducting an open beta test to give players a taste of what MH Wilds offers.
Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug
In response to player feedback, Capcom has released a crucial update for Monster Hunter Wilds. On March 4, 2025, Monster Hunter's official support account, Monster Hunter Status, announced on Twitter (X) that the hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00 is now available on all platforms.
This patch tackles several bugs that were hindering gameplay, including issues with the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking as intended, inaccessibility of the Monster Field Guide, and a critical bug that blocked story progression in Chapter 5-2 "A World Turned Upside Down." Players are advised to update the game to continue enjoying online play.
However, not all issues have been resolved yet. Some players are still encountering a network error when using an SOS flare after starting a quest, and Palico's blunt weapon attacks are not inflicting stun and exhaust damages as expected. Capcom plans to address these multiplayer-related bugs in an upcoming patch.
