Capcom has exciting news for Monster Hunter Wilds fans: Title Update 1 is set to launch on Thursday, April 3 Pacific Time, and April 4 UK time. In a recent showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also detailed what players can look forward to in this major post-launch update.
The highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social area where players can engage in fresh interactions. Here, you'll find a new mini-game called Barrel Bowling and enjoy nightly performances by the Diva. Additionally, the update introduces Mizutsune, a leviathan monster known for its dangerous bubbles, along with a Zoh Shia quest. Later, an event quest will feature the arrival of Arch-tempered Rey Dau.
Competitive players will be thrilled with the new Arena Quests, which challenge participants to achieve the fastest completion times. Title Update 1 brings free content to all players, including classic gestures from the series. Alongside this, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will also be available.
Looking ahead, Capcom teased a collaboration with an unannounced Capcom game set to arrive at the end of May in Monster Hunter Wilds. A second title update is planned for the summer, featuring the introduction of a new monster.
While PC gamers were hoping for updates on performance improvements, the showcase did not address these concerns. Monster Hunter Wilds continues to build on its successful launch, and with Title Update 1, Capcom sets the stage for future content updates.
