Guns Undarkness is gearing up to release a free demo at the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Joining Meguro are Ilya Kuvshinov, the character artist from Ghost in the Shell, and Lotus Juice, the rapper known for his contributions to Persona 3.
Since starting his career with Atlus in 1995, Meguro has crafted unforgettable music for iconic titles like the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series. In 2021, he ventured into indie game development while still collaborating with Atlus on their musical scores. Post-Atlus, Meguro has been focusing on a Sci-Fi Stealth Action JRPG, which will be published under Kodansha Game Creators Lab.
The game was first unveiled at Indie Live Expo Winter 2021 and launched a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2022, surpassing its stretch goals. The eagerly awaited free demo will be available at Steam Next Fest on February 24, 2025, with the full game slated for early access later in the year.
