Phoenix 2 Unveils New Campaign Mode and Controller Support

The indie shoot'em up game, Phoenix 2, has just received a significant update on Android, bringing a wealth of new content and features that enhance its fast-paced action and tactical depth. If you're a fan, you'll want to dive into all the exciting changes this update brings.

What’s In Store?

One of the most exciting additions is the new campaign mode. Gone are the days of just daily missions; now, you can immerse yourself in a full campaign featuring 30 handcrafted missions. This story-driven experience brings characters from the Phoenix 2 universe to life, offering a unique and engaging challenge for both new and veteran players. The campaign introduces a visually stunning Starmap, enhancing your journey as you explore various locations and battle invaders.

Another delightful feature is the introduction of custom player tags. By achieving VIP status, you can personalize your leaderboard entry with a variety of designs, colors, and information, making your tag truly stand out. Your scores, adorned with these custom tags, will remain on the leaderboard permanently.

For those who prefer a more traditional gaming experience, the update now includes full controller support, making Phoenix 2 compatible with modern gamepads.

There’s A Fresh Interface Upgrade As Well

Speedrunners and competitive players will appreciate the new interface upgrades. You can now track wave progress and a timer during speedruns, giving you a clearer sense of your performance in those intense moments.

Alongside these major updates, the game has received several smaller tweaks and fixes, including updated character portraits. So, don't wait—head over to the Google Play Store, select your ship, and jump back into the action-packed world of Phoenix 2.
