Pokémon Go’s Charged Embers Hatch Day will feature Elekid and Magby in eggs

Get ready for Pokémon Go's Charged Embers Hatch Day! This special event, running from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time on December 29th, features increased Elekid and Magby hatch rates from 2km Eggs. Shiny versions of both Pokémon will also be more common.

This three-hour event offers double Candy for all hatched Eggs. To maximize your hatching potential, a bonus period begins Friday, December 27th, at 10:00 am, lasting until the end of Hatch Day. During this time, Eggs in Incubators will hatch at half the usual distance. Don't forget to redeem available Pokémon Go codes for extra rewards!

Free Timed Research will be available, granting a Super Incubator and XP upon completion. A paid Timed Research option ($1) provides a Super Incubator, a Star Piece, and 2,500 XP. Additionally, 2x Hatch Stardust will be earned throughout the event.
